Madie and Lucas are the kind of couple who bring an easy, genuine warmth to everything around them. Their session felt relaxed, natural, and full of the little moments that make documenting love so rewarding.

When they first reached out, they shared a bit about their story—they’re recently engaged, originally from Minnesota, and currently living in Boston while Madie works here on a travel nurse contract. They were looking for photos that felt candid and intimate (which is exactly what I love to capture), and I knew right away this would be a beautiful session.

We started our shoot in Beacon Hill, one of Boston’s most iconic and romantic neighborhoods. The cobblestone streets, historic brownstones, and soft golden light made the perfect setting for Madie’s elegant dress and the sweet, effortless way these two connect. Lucas couldn’t stop smiling at her, and the way they moved together made every moment feel real and unposed.

After our time in Beacon Hill, we headed over to the Boston Public Garden for a more casual feel. They changed into comfy outfits, and we wandered the park, stopping at quiet corners and sunlit paths. The vibe shifted in the best way—more playful, full of laughter, and still so full of love.

Throughout the session, they shared stories about life back in Minnesota, their plans for the future, and what it’s been like navigating this season together in a new city. Their connection felt grounded, full of trust and joy—like two people who just really get each other.
